Samsung LN46A650 HDTV | Worth Every Penny, Believe the Hype Samsung LN46A650 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV

Like almost everyone else making a major purchase like this, I agonized for months over the past PLASMA vs LCD, Sony or Samsung, 120Hz vs. 60Hz. Whenever my family and I went to a store to view the various TV options first hand, the image on LNa650 Samsung and LNa750 were just mind blowing and clearly sstandout from all the other TVs LCD or plasma. And then the debate reduced to make us buy the 650 or 750, since the price was so close and the subwoofer, speaker placement and respect DNLA and transformation have been slightly faster than Nice additional features. In the end we opted to purchase the 650, such as reports and images of “halo” effect on the bezel frame 750, when viewing the TV in the dark was of concern to us and would certainly have taken the trouble to us, even if some people are not bothered by it at all.

I am happy to say that we have had this TV for 5 days and are completely stunned and amazed at the quality of the image. I am a jaded Nyer is a difficult person to impress, LOL, so that’s saying a lot. The TV speaker sound is not as bad as some report in other reviews as long as they change the equalizer settings under the custom audio options and is totally unacceptable, once optimized, at least when stand mounted as we hacve ours (speakers are on the back of the TV, and mounted on a wall, which could be the problem for some, idk?). That said I have a SONY HT-CT100 Sound Bar connected via HDMI and it looks really stylish and sounds awesome as well (and was dirt cheap and very well rated by professionals and I recommend it not for the sound and multi HDMI connectivity for the affordable price ) so even if the sound is certainly acceptable from TV alone is not a problem.

I have not had problems off, TV comes with updated firmware. The screen had not had any problems with glare, even if I have a room with 30 ‘ceilings and 4 large windows on that massive wall, floor to ceiling. I have an Ethernet cable connected to the TV (will get the wireless dongle) and love the info link function that works perfectly. The summary that appears as a glass of cabernet makes the TV an absolute show piece in my family room and in reality, even if it is so subtle, most people who have seen the TV are not aware of color, is just one of Ads grit and sleekness that set this TV apart from the rest of the pack. The swivel base is very sturdy and does not feel fragile. I calibrated my TV. Although it looks great out of the box, you can look even better if you drill down past the standard presets in sub menu and TV can be changed up to every detail.
